For the most part these air-checks of the 530-1700 khz frequency area are of poor quality. Most are recording a radio signal under very adverse conditions. DX STYLE. All that is sought is an ID of the station. This vs. say a 'band-scan' of ones area radio stations where some quality might be achieved and the received signal is of suitable quality. At least that is my excuse for poor recording !!! It is problematic 2010 though with the old cassette deck about obsolete and 'digital voice recorders' of which I find horrible.-- unless maybe you wish to sample them at hundreds of dollars per sample ?
So maybe we should just call these 'dx-checks' ???
If any desired for usage just download with the minimal suggestion ? At least credit them to ME ? Too much to ask ? Also these are stored at various places on the internet if not this site. If your prompted for a 'DOWNLOAD' usually clicking that link will give you the option of listening to it vs. saving it to your computer. This as of now seems to be the deal now with storing on Google..open ? NO. Download.
